Liver Cancer Charity Set to Benefit

A charity match in aid of a liver cancer charity is being held at Chipping Norton FC this Sunday 12th August, kick-off 3pm.

Entry is just £5 for adults and £2 and all proceeds will go to charity. Included in the game are a host of former United players, with the following all confirmed: Alan Judge, Les Phillips, Les Robinson, Chris Allen, Joey Beauchamp, Peter Rhoades-Brown and Andy Gunn.

There will also be a raffle, with prizes including tickets for a home game next season. Food and bar facilities are also available in a friendly atmosphere.

The game is in memory of Shaun Weller from Chipping Norton, who died aged 22 from liver cancer. He was a very keen footballer and a huge Oxford United fan.
