Striking choices as United welcome Plymouth
United boss Chris Wilder has interesting choices to make as his side welcome Plymouth Argyle to the Kassam Stadium on Saturday.
The U's are undefeated so far this season, and have yet to concede a goal. but it's up front that the big decisions have to be made.
James Constable missed Tuesday night's excellent win over Southend United with a tight groin but is expected to be fully fit, while fellow sub Tom Craddock came off the bench to score twice in the second half. Deane Smalley had a storming game up front, as did Alfie Potter and Sean Rigg and when you add in the fit again JP Pittman there are six strikers vying for a starting place against the Pilgrims.
"That's what you want" the Manager told Yellow Player. "That level of competition is what you want all over the park and gives me choices to make. But the squad is very together and there are a lot of players pressing for starting places all over the pitch."
With another good crowd expected and queues outside the ticket office for the last two days for Swindon and Leeds tickets these are exciting times. Be part of it. Call 01865 337533 or visit www.oufctickets.co.uk to book your place for Saturday.
