A Northern Ireland international defender, Ciaron joined United in June on a two-year deal following his release by Cardiff City. He initially joined the side on loan from the Bluebirds in January 2022 and impressed with some strong performances. As well as being a solid left-sided defender, Ciaron possesses a lethal long throw. He was voted both the supporters’ and players’ Player of the Season for 2022/23.

Now a key member of the Northern Ireland squad, Brown consistently showcases his strength as one of the EFL Sky Bet Championship’s top defenders, earning both the Players' and Supporters' Player of the Year awards at Oxford for the 2024/25 season.
