Wales international and experienced Championship midfielder Will Vaulks was United's first signing of the 24/25 season.
The 32-year-old has brought a wealth of experience in the second-tier of English football having spent the majority of his career in the division with the likes of Rotherham, Cardiff City and Sheffield Wednesday.
Having won Sheffield Wednesday’s Player of the Year award for the 2023/24 season, Vaulks brought that same high standard of performance to Oxford, featuring in 46 matches across all competitions during his debut season.
Will is a well-respected figure at the club, balancing his on-field responsibilities with his role as an ambassador for Baton of Hope. As a key spokesperson for Oxford, Vaulks actively champions the club’s mental health and suicide prevention campaign.
