Women's Team Travel To Face Exeter City

Women

Following their impressive Adobe WFA Cup display against WSL 2 leaders Charlton Athletic last weekend, Oxford United Women return to National Southern Premier league action this Sunday as they travel to Exeter City.

Without a league game due to their cup run, the U’s dropped to fifth in the table as Real Bedford took the opportunity to leapfrog United. However, the Grecians were unable to close the six point game on Oxford as they lost 4-0 at Lewes to leave them in seventh place.

Oxford will still be without forward Holly Turner, although they will be happy to see her recovery is going well. New signings Alice Bussey and Maya Kendell have already shown plenty of promise, with Bussey making her full debut against Charlton with an assured display.

The game this Sunday is a 2:00pm kick-off at Coach Road, Newton Abbot TQ12 1EJ, where the Devon FA have their headquarters. Tickets are cheaper if bought in advance, and are available HERE.
