Women Return to League Action Against Cheltenham

Oxford United Women

It’s a return to National League action for Oxford United Women on Sunday, as they welcome Cheltenham Town to the MGroup Stadium (2:00pm kick off).

Following last weekend’s heroics against Middlesbrough in the Women’s FA Cup, United take on the Robins looking to extend their winning run under Liam Gilbert to seven consecutive games, starting with their FA Cup second round win over Luton Town.

They are up against a Cheltenham side sitting sixth in the league, just one place and one point behind the U’s. Last time out, the Robins were beaten 5-1 at home by Real Bedford, but they did win their last away game 4-0 at Exeter City.

As ever, Gilbert’s side will have to be at their best to overcome their visitors. Come along and support the team and you’ll be assured of a warm welcome at the stadium, where there is a well-stocked club house and the fantastic Burnout BBQ. There is always a great atmosphere at the games.

Tickets for the game cost £8 for adults; £4 for over-65s, Blue Light Card holders, and Men’s season ticket holders; £3 for under-18s; and £2 for under-13s. Under-7s have free admission. Tickets are available on the gate or online HERE.
