Aaron Ramsey faced the media for the first time as Oxford United Head Coach on Wednesday, speaking to reporters ahead of pre-season beginning next week.
Ramsey discussed his appointment, his ambitions for the Club, and the excitement he has for the position as he begins life in the Kassam Stadium dugout.

Speaking to the press, he said: "As soon as I started these conversations with the Club, I realised how ambitious they are and where they want to go. From there, I knew that this was the right place for me and I can't to get started. It's a huge honour and a privilege to be in this position.
"I have a really clear way I want to play. That is built on clear principles first, and then underpinned by elite habits and everyday behaviours. This is what I really believe that will give us the platform to build our success on.
"I've been really lucky and blessed to have played under so many great managers who have all brought different attributes that I really like, and I have taken snippets here and there. I've been lucky to be in elite environments so that gives me confidence to go forward and lead and inspire the team.
"I wouldn't be sat in this position if I didn't think I was ready. I've been planning for this now for the last few years and my experience gives me the belief that I can lead and make a real impact."
