Oxford United can confirm that Frankie Kent has undergone successful surgery after sustaining an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
Kent sustained the injury during a training session and is expected to miss the majority of the 2026/27 season.
The defender joined the Club this summer following three years with Heart of Midlothian. He will now begin the rehabilitation phase of his recovery under the care of the Club's medical staff.
