Under-18s Take On Cheltenham in Midweek Clash

Oxford United Under-18s begin their league cup campaign against Cheltenham Town on Tuesday.

United are in a group along with Cambridge United, Luton Town, Wycombe Wanderers and tomorrow’s opponents, Cheltenham Town.

This year’s edition sees a new format of the competition after last season’s instant knockout structure.

Oxford will come into tomorrow on the back of an unbeaten start to the league campaign. Niall Keown's side opened the season by winning away to Leyton Orient before drawing against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.

The Robins haven’t had quite the same start to the season, losing their opening game to MK Dons, and will be looking to get their season on track tomorrow.

The Young U’s will host Cheltenham Town on Tuesday 18 August at 2:00pm at the Training Centre.
