Oxford United Women Welcome Real Bedford

Oxford United Women

Oxford United Women are at home this Sunday against Real Bedford at the slightly earlier than usual kick-off time of 1:00pm.

U’s manager Liam Gilbert will be looking for a reaction to their last game, when his injury-hit side lost 5-0 at second-placed Plymouth Argyle.

Bedford, on the other hand, had a morale-boosting 2-1 win at third-placed AFC Bournemouth, a result that lifted them to sixth place in the National League Southern Premier Division.

United will be looking to avenge their 4-1 defeat to Real Bedford the last time that the sides met, at Ledger Stadium back in September.

Tickets for Sunday's game cost £8 for adults; £4 for over-65s, Blue Light Card holders, and Oxford United Men’s season-ticket holders; £3 for under-18s; and £3 for under-13. Under-7s get free admission. Tickets are available on the gate or online HERE.

The club will be holding a raffle for the last two home games to raise as much as possible for the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young, which has been organised by the parents of Amelia Aplin, the Girls’ Under-18’s goalkeeper who tragically collapsed and passed away during a fixture against Fulham.

Do come along to the MGroup Stadium, where there is a fully stocked bar and the excellent Burnout BBQ.
