Oxford United Women return to home action this Sunday at the MGroup Stadium (OX3 0NQ) as they welcome Billericay Town.
Due to the Oxford Half-Marathon route going past Oxford City’s ground, the game will kick off at 3:00pm to allow all runners to pass the venue safely. Turnstiles open at 1:30pm.
Last weekend, the U’s drew 1-1 at Hashtag United thanks to Shaunna Jenkins’ spectacular far-post volley from a corner to level the scores after going behind just four minutes earlier. Unfortunately, Oxford were unable to find a winner despite laying siege to the Hashtag goal.
They will be hopeful of earning all three points this weekend against a Billericay side that has yet to gain a point in their first six league games. A win could take United up a place to fifth, depending on how Gwalia United get on away at Lewes, but the U’s will also be hoping to boost their goal difference.
With no Men’s first-team game this weekend, come along and get your footy fix watching the Women’s team. There is always a great atmosphere and a wonderful welcome at the MGroup Stadium, where there is a well-stocked bar and delicious food on offer.
Tickets for the game are available HERE
They cost £8 for adult tickets or £4 for Over-65, Under-25, Men’s Season Ticket Holders, and Blue Light Card holders, £3 for 13-18 year olds, £2 for 8-12 year olds, and under-7s get in for free.
