Oxford United Under-18s are in action for the third time in the last seven days as they look to end a tough week with a win, away to Luton Town.
The side travel to Luton this Saturday for a 10:30 AM kick off, getting their Professional Development League Cup campaign underway. Luton will be the first fixture of three in the group stage before the tournament progresses to knockout rounds.
United take on Luton, before hosting Watford and wrapping up the group with a visit to Colchester.
The Young U’s have had a difficult start to the season, with a 4-0 defeat in the league and an early exit in the Youth Alliance Cup after being beaten in Wimbledon. The good news on the other hand is that a couple of boys have returned to the grass, hopefully meaning some positive injury news is on the horizon.
Luton will be no easier, coming on the back of winning the league last season and getting this season off to a flying start with big 5-1 and 6-4 wins against Plymouth and Leyton Orient respectively.
