Oxford United’s 2025/26 season is set to begin in unique style, as the team get set to take part in the President’s Cup in Indonesia.
On Sunday, United will play in front of tens of thousands of supporters at the 77,000 capacity GBK national stadium, in the first game of the tournament against Indonesia All Stars in Jakarta.
The six-team competition will see United play a guaranteed two fixtures, with a potential third in a third/fourth game, or a final, depending on results.

It’s a full-strength squad which has travelled to Indonesia, with Siriki Dembele, James Golding and Steph Negru staying in Oxford to continue their recovery from injury, and Greg Leigh also staying behind having represented Jamaica.
