Oxford United are proud to announce the launch of a new lifestyle collection in collaboration with streetwear brand, Fresh Ego Kid.
Having been established in 2010 by former professional footballer Marvin Morgan, Fresh Ego Kid has evolved into one of Europe's most influential streetwear brands. Its foundation lies in the fusion of football and music cultures, driven by a passion for premium practicality.
Marvin was an English professional footballer and entrepreneur whose career extended across both sport and fashion. He played for clubs including Aldershot Town, Yeading, Shrewsbury Town, Plymouth Argyle and Woking.
Marvin sadly passed away, aged 38, but the Fresh Ego Kid brand continues in his legacy.
The brand is all about having pride in your appearance, feeling empowered and confident, and staying in touch with your inner child to remember that you're never too old to do anything.
The OX4 collection, compromising of a tracksuit, t-shirt, varsity jacket and cap, focuses on the community that we have been a part of for over 20 years and the area that surrounds it. Led by world-renowned model Addis Miller, who grew up in Blackbird Leys, the range includes references to the Club and area, such as the Yellow Army and OX4.
Having been discovered as a teenager in Oxford, Addis, who still lives in Oxfordshire, has gone on to work with internationally recognised brands including Calvin Klein, Adidas and Boohoo Man.
With his roots firmly connected to OX4, Addis represents the talent and ambition that can emerge from the city’s communities. His story provides an inspiring example of how local beginnings can lead to opportunities on an international stage.
Built from the streets that made us.
Made for wherever we go next.
