Oxford United will return to the Kassam Stadium for two sell-out festive fixtures, with Craig Short taking interim charge in the dugout. Southampton visit on Boxing Day, followed by Swansea City on Monday 29 December, as United look to bounce back in front of our home supporters.
Due to Christmas opening hours and print deadlines, the matchday programmes for both fixtures were written and printed prior to Tuesday’s announcement that Gary Rowett had departed the Club. As a result, both editions include a welcome note from Gary.
After careful consideration, the Club have taken the decision to continue selling both matchday programmes. They are an important part to some of the supporter experience and contain important Club news and information.
The Swansea City programme is also a significant edition as we remember Those We Have Lost, paying tribute to supporters, former players and staff who sadly passed away in 2025. This is an important moment of reflection for the Oxford United family, and one the Club felt should be marked as planned.
We thank supporters for their understanding and continued backing during this period, and we look forward to welcoming you back to the stadium for the festive fixtures.
