A Christmas Surprise, From Oxford United

A Christmas Surprise

Oxford United are proud to launch ‘A Christmas Surprise, From Oxford United,’ a festive campaign designed to recognise and celebrate remarkable supporter stories across our community.

Launching today on OUTV, the Club will share incredible tales of Oxford United fans from across Oxfordshire who have gone above and beyond to help others.

Throughout December, the Club will travel across the county to surprise these individuals, with Men’s First Team players and staff visiting them at their homes, workplaces, and community hubs. Each surprise included:

  • A specially curated Oxford United Christmas goody bag
  • A personalised letter of thanks from the Club
  • An invitation to our Preston North End fixture on Saturday 13 December, including a VIP festive matchday experience

In November, supporters were invited to nominate friends, family members, colleagues and fellow fans who make an extraordinary impact in their communities. After receiving hundreds of nominations, the Club selected five outstanding stories, each with its own unique and inspiring tale.

‘A Christmas Surprise, From Oxford United’ underlines the Club’s ongoing commitment to celebrating the positive contributions made by our supporters, particularly during the festive season.

The first episode in the series is available to watch now on OUTV, featuring community football coach Lee White, who was surprised by Ole Romeny during a children’s session in Abingdon.

Further episodes will be released over the next two weeks across OUTV and Oxford United’s social media channels.
