Oxford United are delighted to announce the signing of Aidomo Emakhu from Millwall on a long-term deal.
The 22-year-old Irish forward joins the Club with significant Championship experience, with 74 appearances since his debut for Millwall in February 2023.
Emakhu came through the Shamrock Rovers setup in Ireland, making 46 senior appearances and scoring six goals, and winning two League of Ireland Premier Division titles.
A dynamic attacker capable of playing anywhere across the front line, Emakhu will join the squad ahead of Saturday’s fixture against Coventry City.
Speaking after completing his move, Emakhu said: “I’m really excited to be here. This is a move that fits perfectly with how I want to develop. I am ready to give my all for this Club and show the supporters what I can do. I can’t wait to get started and create some special moments here.”
Head Coach, Matt Bloomfield, added: “We’re very pleased to bring Aidomo to the Club. He’s a player with significant pace and the ability to create chances.
