Oxford United U18s welcome Luton Town to the Bangkok Glass Training Centre on Saturday morning (11am) as they aim to build on the point gained against Leyton orient last week.
The U’s started their Merit League campaign with a point in a dramatic 3-3 draw against Leyton Orient last weekend. Their focus now turns to defending champions, Luton Town, who sit top of the table with two wins from two.
The young U’s will look to continue their good form, with just one defeat in the last five and continue their goalscoring form with five goals in the last two.
Coach Pablo Haysham said:
“Saturday is another good opportunity for us to prove ourselves against a top side. Luton are a very physical team and have shown their quality this season, but I’m confident in the boys getting a result tomorrow. We have a lot of young players in the squad at the moment who have really been stepping up and bringing their quality to the side.”
