Under-18s take the points in final away game

10 February 2024

Goals from Kasway Burton and Leo Snowden earned Oxford United's under-18s a 2-1 win in their last away game in the EFL Youth Alliance.

Ahead after 20 minutes, United were pegged back by the Robins quarter of an hour later to leave the scores level at the break.

However, the young U's showed great character to come back with a winning goal in the 67th minute to make the short return trip over the Cotswolds with three points in the bag.

Next Saturday, the U's welcome Bristol Rovers for their final game of the EFL Alliance season before the commencement of the Merit League.

United: Marriott, Mole, Bangurah (Maxwell 60), Holton, Lacey (Cramond 45), Bradney, Burton (Blackmore 75), Cooper, Snowden (Iheanacho 75), Griffiths, Travin
