Joe Kinnear, a former Director of Football at Oxford United, died yeseterday at the age of 77.
Oxford United would like to pass on our condolences to the family and friends of Joe Kinnear, who died on Sunday 7th April following a battle with dementia.
Best known for his time as a player with Tottenham Hotspur and as manager at Newcastle United, Kinnear had a brief stint as Director of Football with United, where he worked mostly with David Kemp during the 2000/01 season. He left the club in 2001 to work for Luton Town.
