Things you may have missed in the first month of the season

7 September 2023

Not paying attention in August? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Here’s a look back at some of the things you may have missed last month….

August 1st - Third Kit Launch

Season Ticket holders attended an invite-only secret location roof top party at The Varsity Club. Key club figures such as CEO Tim Williams and Chairman Grant Ferguson were in attendance, with supporters enjoying live music from local band the Mezz and DJ Dan Buck.

A Mark Harris goal earned the U’s a 1-0 win over Carlisle United at the Kassam Stadium. The game was also the first time many Season Ticket holders had the chance to take advantage of their exclusive 10% off in-store benefit..

An almost perfect away performance as two goals from Mark Harris earned the team a superb 2-1 win at Pride Park, watched by over 1,000 travelling fans.

400 Season Ticket holders visited the Bangkok Glass Training Centre to watch our Men’s First Team train, interact with OUitC, the Women’s and Academy teams, and learn about the new stadium project. Some supporters also enjoyed a Q&A with players and coaching staff from the Men’s and Women’s teams.

We made it three wins in a row as a first-half penalty from Cameron Brannagan, a second-half own goal by Jordan Williams, and a late clincher from Tyler Goodrham earned a 3-1 win at Oakwell.

To kick off our new partnership with John Lewis Westgate, Cameron Brannagan, Rúben Rodrigues, and Josh McEachran were available for pictures and signatures at an event attended by over 400 U’s fans.

With Benugo Cafe Bar providing coffee vouchers for those supporters who queued, two lucky attendees also won a signed framed home shirt and a £50 John Lewis voucher.
