We were pleased to welcome Greater Leys Kites Under 8s as our Guard of Honour on Saturday as we took on Bristol Rovers at the Kassam Stadium
The Under 8s Greater Leys Kites team was created last season by Daniel Bourton.
The team only started with a few players who had a passion for the game and very quickly they gained more and more players who love the game.
The team has grown to 14 amazing talented players who formed friendships through the last season. The team gained a new assistant coach, Ryan Pitson last season. The boys went on to win the trophy event and from then on showed how strong and powerful they are.
On Saturday the boys welcomed the teams and played a part in a great win, excited to support the U’s in the hope that one day they could be playing on the pitch in United kits.
