Oxford United Women progressed in the Oxfordshire County Cup and confidently beat Cardiff City Ladies 5-1 in a friendly at Court Place Farm today.
The first game saw Lacy Liggett and Zoe Barratt both getting a brace, with Shelly Provan chipping in with a fifth in a friendly against the tier three side from Wales that allowed Sam Rose to further experiment with his new squad.
The Development Squad then took to action, beating Barton United Ladies 21-0 in the first round of the Oxfordshire County Cup. Full credit to Barton who never gave up and fought for every ball till the very end.
