End of Season Awards Evening 2023

Oxford Town Hall hosts this year’s club celebrations

8 March 2023

Oxford United are delighted to announce the club’s annual end of season awards evening will take place at the prestigious Oxford Town Hall on Sunday 30th April.

Hosted by Football Focus’ Mark Clemmit, the evening will include a three-course meal and award presentations, a review of the Men’s, Women’s, and Academy’s respective campaigns and successes, with an opportunity for you to hear from the winners of the awards and representatives from the club during the night.

Throughout the evening there will be a range of entertainment from a live auction, an opportunity to vote for the Goal of the Season, and a very special guest speaker appearance from Oxford United legend Ray Houghton.

The cost is £100+vat per person, which includes entry to the exclusive event, a three-course meal, and the chance to mingle with the players and staff of the 2022/23 Men, Women, and Academy teams.

Oxford Town Hall is one of the most iconic venues in the city of Oxford, so this isn’t an evening you want to miss out on. Dress Code is Black Tie.

To enquire about places or to sponsor an award and present it to the winner on the night, email commercial@oufc.co.uk or call the Commercial Team on 01865 337503 / 513.

The awards that will be handed out on the night are:

  • The Andrew Knapton Supporters' Men's Player of the Season
  • The Jack Casley Young Player of the Year
  • The Joey Beauchamp Goal of the Season – voting held on the night
  • The Golden Boot
  • Men's Players' Player of the Year
  • The Micky Lewis Club Person of the Year

The Andrew Knapton award is named after Andrew, the voice of the London Road at the Manor, who sadly passed away in the summer of 2001.

The Jack Casley award is named after Jack, who was one of the first ever pros at the club, passing away in 2014. The trophy was donated by Jack’s family in his honour.
