Oxford United Women will travel to Wolves Women on Sunday 13th August for their final pre-season friendly.
Kick off is at 2PM at New Bucks Head Stadium, TF1 2TU, and tickets can be bought online HERE
The U’s go into the game off the back of a 4-0 pre-season victory against Swindon Town Women and will look to end pre-season on a high with a good result against last year’s Northern Premier Division title challengers.
Manager Liam Gilbert told us
“Wolves will be a really good final test to prepare us for the calibre we can expect at the top of our division. It will be a physical and technical challenge and a good one to see where we are at.
“It’s nice to have a settled squad now and we’re all really excited to get the season underway, the work that’s gone on by staff and players during pre-season has been phenomenal and we’ve put ourselves in a very good position.
“It’s one more chance to get minutes in legs and get our mindset bang on so we can go into MK Dons away next weekend fully firing.
