Four of Oxford United’s younger players were in action this weekend on loans or work experience deals.
Defender James Golding played the full 90 minutes on his debut for Dartford in their 1-0 defeat at Weymouth in the National League South.
Second Year Scholar Aidan Elliott-Wheeler also completed 90 minutes, playing as a left wing-back for Banbury United in their 3-0 defeat at Scarborough in the National League North.
George Franklin played in centre midfield for Bracknell in their 1-0 defeat at Gosport in the Southern Premier South which meant that goalkeeper Eddie Brearey was the only loanee on the winning side this weekend, making one excellent save and keeping a clean sheet as St Ives won 1-0 away at Nuneaton in the Southern Premier Central.
