Oxford United are proud to support the EFL and Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces campaign as we take on Fleetwood Town on Tuesday evening.
Rainbow Laces brings visibility for LGBTQ+ people in sport both on and off the pitch, where instances of discrimination are still present. In recent years, progress has been made to create a more inclusive and safer environment for all but there’s still so much more that needs to be done.
The U’s will be visually showing their support for the campaign by wearing a rainbow captain’s armband, placing rainbow corner flags and adjusting to multi-coloured branding leading up to the game.
