PREVIEW Wycombe Wanderers v Oxford United

A full guide to Saturday's game at Adams Park

14 January 2022

Oxford United take on Wycombe Wanderers at Adams Park on Saturday in Sky Bet League 1.

TEAM NEWS
United are without the suspended Herbie Kane who will miss three games after a red card at Lincoln last weekend.

Cameron Brannagan also limped off in that game but both Marcus McGuane and James Henry both came on in midfield at Sincil Bank and stand by to return to the starting eleven.

Luke McNally returned to the team at Lincoln with Jordan Thorniley struggling with a knee injury, while Nathan Holland was another to feature from the bench last weekend after injury.

See Karl Robinson, John Mousinho, Marcus McGuane and Simon Eastwood previewing the game in iFollow right now.

THE OPPOSITION

Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth told local radio:

"It was a really good game at their place earlier in the season. Karl is a friend and I know he’ll have that team really organised, they’re one of the teams fancied for the play-offs or promotion as well.

"It's the M40 derby as they call it, sorry Oxford fans - I know they'll be shouting at the radio right now, but we can’t wait for them to come down to Adams Park."

The Chairboys are on an unbeaten run in 2022, and have lost only one game in their last nine league matches.
