New Season, New Programme

Your new-look programme starts with Cambridge United

5 August 2022

Cambridge United come to Oxford for the first home game of the season this Saturday and we have produced a new match programme that gets its first airing at the game.

Upon buying the programme, the first thing you'll notice is that the cover includes an additional perforated page containing four OUFC Player Cards. Each programme this season will include four additional cards, building up to a collection of 92 cards. Each player comes with stats that you can then compare with each other and play games based around them. You'll have to see inside for further details.

The programme also includes plenty of new features, including an expanded section on the day's opponents, a special Olly the Ox  pull-out section - including a poster - for younger readers, and a series looking at overseas-born players that have worn the famous Yellow shirt.

We have retained your favourites too, with the Cambridge programme featuring a look behind the scenes as we visited Derby last weekend, a look back at previous meetings between the sides, and a feature about those players who have turned out for both clubs. There's also an in-depth interview with Cameron Brannagan that's well worth reading.

Also, club partner Planet IT has a special competition with some great prizes on offer. Check out their ad on page 28 for the chance to win.

Programmes are available from the club shop and around the ground for £4 - the first price rise since 2008 - but we still feel it represents great value for money. You can still subscribe for the season at last season's price of just £3 a copy. Email programme@oufc.co.uk for details. You can also read the programme digitally on all laptops/phones/devices from www.matchdayfix.com/oufc.

Don't forget, Saturday also sees the release of the latest edition of The Ox magazine, available for just £5 from the club shop and sellers around the ground. Featuring interviews with Alex Gorrin, James Henry and club legend Ron Atkinson, as well as plenty of other unique articles and features, it really is a must-buy publication for all U's fans.
