Oxford United continue to put their best foot forward with the club represented in this Sunday’s Great North Run by Academy Head of Analysis Gavin Boorman.
Gav and his partner Charlotte will be running in aid of Cancer Research and Gav told us:
“We were supposed to do it last year but the event got postponed so we have basically been training for the event for 18 months now! It has been quite tough but the Great North Run is one of those things we both really wanted to do and it is for a great cause, one very close to our hearts.”
Academy Manager Dan Harris told us
“Gav does an amazing job for us and has quietly been clocking up the miles in training for this. He knows he has the support of everyone at the Academy and throughout the club and we hope they enjoy what should be an amazing day.”
