Oxford United can confirm the departure of striker Derick Osei Yaw who has left the club by mutual consent.
The French forward joined the U’s last summer but found appearances limited in his first season with just one league start although he scored three goals in the club’s Papa John’s Trophy campaign.
He spent the second part of the season on loan at Walsall before returning to the U’s for pre-season.
With opportunities again limited the club reached agreement to release Derick to hopefully allow him to find a new club as a free agent.
We thank Derick for his efforts and wish him the best of luck for the future.
