Accrington Stanley Programme

Oxford United take on Accrington Stanley in Sky Bet League One this evening, and we have produced a programme that is essential reading for all U's (and Accrington) fans.

The big interview is with United's on-loan centre-back Jordan Thorniley, who made his first break into men's football while on loan to Accrington from Sheffield Wednesday. Jordan talks about his time at Stanley under John Coleman and how it helped his future career. He also discusses many other topics and throws in a great analogy too.

Goalkeeper Jack Stevens is the centre-page poster, while Michael Elechi features in the youth profile and another goalie, Rose Kite, is the subject of the women's profile.

The Season in the Sun series turns its attention to the 2000/01 season, about which the less said the better. On the Road takes a break from its usual format to look at how the pandemic affected away trips, and we have a serious question to ask of those fans who collect match tickets: why?

All this and much more is available in tonight's match programme, available from sellers around the ground (cash only) and the club shop (cash or card) for just £3. Are you an away fan unable to make the long Tuesday night journey? Or an Oxford supporter who can't get to the game due to work or problems finding fuel? Don't fret, you can still get hold of your programme by visiting www.matchdayfix.com/oufc and buying a downloadable e-copy. So everyone's a winner.
