There’s a chance for Oxford United fans to help a great cause as well as being part of what should be a fantastic event being held by our friends at Bicester Golf and Jack FM this weekend.
On Saturday 19th June Bicester Hotel and Spa are hosting an event in partnership with Jack FM looking to raise over £1,000 for Jack's Radiothon 2021 in aid of Ronald McDonald House Charities UK, and their 62-bedroom house at the Oxford Children's Hospital.
Providing free home-from-home accommodation for families while their child is in hospital, they ensure that parents are only ever minutes from their child's bedside. The house is equipped with 62 en-suite bedrooms, eight kitchen and living areas, four laundries, an incredible garden and 24-hour support. Every penny raised will go towards helping keep families close.
Between the hours of 12pm - 4pm on Saturday, people will be running a four-hour continuous swim in Bicester Hotel and Spa’s outdoor swimming lake where staff, members and non-members will be able to participate.

Once you have confirmed your space, we would like all swimmers/groups to create your own fundraising page and join the group’s Justgiving page to work together to raise as much money as possible.

All participants will be required to wear a brightly coloured swim hat, and will be provided with a tow float. Wet suits are recommended but not mandatory.
Members will not need to pay a lake entry fee but for all non-members the entry fee will be £6 (swimmers only); you are more than welcome to bring friends and family along to support you throughout your swim.
Between the hours of 8am - 4pm, the Performance Cafe will be open where you can purchase an array of food and beverages, including our newly released smoothies.
