Oxford United’s pre-season friendly at home to Peterborough United next week will now take place on Wednesday.
The game was originally scheduled to be played, behind closed doors, on the Tuesday evening but with 12 players self-isolating United asked if the game could be moved back 24 hours, by which time those players should be available again.
We thank Peterborough for their understanding of the situation and the game will now take place at the Training Ground, still behind closed doors, with a 1pm kick off.
The match will feature two games running side by side on two pitches to allow as many players as possible to gain game time.
As previously reported, United’s friendly at Birmingham City on Saturday has been cancelled.
