Oxford United Prepare To Welcome Fans Back

Hull game set to be first trial game after Lockdown

27 November 2020

Following the news yesterday that the city of Oxford is a Tier 2 area, Oxford United can confirm that the Sky Bet League 1 game at home to Hull City on Saturday 5th December will be the first trial game where fans will be allowed back in to the Kassam Stadium.

The safety of supporters, players and staff remains our primary concern and therefore the game will see 1,000 fans allowed in to watch the game.

Provided that we can demonstrate that this number can watch a match safely under current covid protocols then further plans are in place to allow up to 2,000 fans at subsequent games.

Plans are already well under way as to how the 2,000 fans will be allocated places- with close to 4,000 season ticket holders this is no easy task and the ticket office and marketing team are working hard to finalise the details which should be made available early next week.

Fans who are unable to be at the game will still be able to view it on iFollow.
