Oxford United get a chance to get back to winning ways when they welcome Rochdale to the Kassam Stadium on Tuesday evening (7pm)
“I don’t think the players have refused to stand up and be counted so far but everyone knows the results haven’t been there for us “Karl Robinson told iFollow today. “The work ethic is great and we talked after the game on Saturday about certain aspects like taking the game to the opposition especially late on but the players are giving me everything and that’s all I can ask from them as Manager.
“There is a positivity around the place and that will carry on. We are not hiding away from the fact the table doesn’t look good but that’s a good place to start from at home tomorrow night.
“I know there will be certain amount of criticism and we never shirk that but we have to stick to the plan. Go away from everything you have done before and you might as well throw all those plans you made on the bonfire on fireworks night- socially distanced of course!
“We just have to make sure we stick together, and that has been our big message today and will be on Tuesday night.”
