Yesterday saw another great meeting of the Oxford United Manor Club.
The Manor Club, for supporters aged 50 and over, meets on the first Wednesday of every month for a talk from a star guest and a bite to eat. The age limit has been adjusted to 50 this season to allow even more fans to come and join us.
March's guest was former striker Paul Berry, who played for the U’s over 100 times between the late 70s and early 80s and then coached a next generation of players. Paul was joined by Andrew Harvey, once a player at Coventry City and now overseeing progress at the new training ground.
Next month's guest is Garry Parker with the meeting on April 1st.
Tickets are just £6, including a buffet lunch and there is a bar available too. You can either book your place online at oufctickets.co.uk or by calling 01865 337533.
It all takes place at Cowley Workers Social Club on Between Towns Road, Cowley OX4 3LZ, starting at midday and finishing around 3pm.
