'How to' guide ahead of FGR tie

Ahead of the sales period for the U’s Papa John’s Trophy tie with Forest Green Rovers, the club would like to offer supporters some key information to assist with the process of purchasing tickets online

Following Monday’s allocation period for the upcoming Pilot Fixture against Hull City, we were aware that a number of fans experienced issues during the process. With this in mind, we have outlined three key ways that errors could occur in the OUFC Tickets purchasing process, and how to avoid them:

1.Make sure you are logged into the correct account
2.Make sure you activate your Season Ticket account, do not setup a new one
3.How to assign supporters to your network

Make sure you are logged into the correct account
We are aware that some supporters encountered an error message saying that they did not have the correct privileges on their account to claim tickets for the Hull City tie.
We have looked into all the queries that were flagged to us and in the vast majority of cases, the message was displayed because the supporter was logged into a duplicate account rather than the one that their Season Ticket is associated to. Because of this the online system was showing as the supporter 'did not have the correct privileges for this event’.

To check this online log into your OUFC Tickets account and click ‘My Account’ at the top of the page. This will show your name and a number in brackets, if this number is different to the Fan Number associated with your Season Ticket you will not be able to buy tickets.

To correct this and make sure you can buy tickets online, you need to contact the Ticket Office with both your Season Ticket number and the number of the account online, please email and we will action this for you as soon as possible.

Please note – your Fan Number is displayed on any previous Season Ticket cards you may have. If you are a first time Season Ticket holder and you are unsure what your number is, please request this in your email.

Make sure you activate your Season Ticket account, do not setup a new one
If you have never purchased tickets through OUFC Tickets before, you will need to activate your account, not create a new one.
To do this, please CLICK HERE and enter your Fan Number and Surname to activate your account.

Assigning supporters to your network
Supporters wishing to purchase tickets for themselves and other fans in their social bubble will need to add the full group to their network on OUFC Tickets. To do this, please take the following steps:

1.Login to your account at, taking extra care to ensure you are logged into the correct account (as outlined above).
2. Click on 'My Account' in the top right hand corner and click 'Network'.
3. Click 'Add Members', then 'Search for Existing Member'.
4. Input the Fan Number and surname of the person you wish to add.
5.Once it has found your friend or family, click 'Add Member'. The supporter is now in your network.
