First Team Manager Liam Gilbert and Club Captain Lauren Haynes paid a special visit to the Berry Youth Centre in Berinsfield last week.
The Berry Youth Centre works with children aged 8 to 16, many of whom face real and significant challenges in their everyday life, with football a key motivation and inspiration to children who go there.
Both Liam and Lauren took time out to have a kick around with the children at the centre in Berinsfield, playing matches and games with the youngsters whilst chatting about football to help inspire them.
Lauren said:
“It was such a fantastic evening and it’s always great to give back to the community when we can. Many of the children there face challenges every single day so to see the smiles on their faces and to see them playing football together was incredibly rewarding. We’d like to thank The Berry Youth Centre for having us and making us feel so welcome.”
