Oxford United U18s are in league action this weekend as they face Forest Green Rovers away in the Youth Alliance League.
United’s youngsters are in good form as they moved up to third in the league last time out with a win over league leaders Portsmouth.
Lead PDP Coach Leon Blackmore-Such told us:
“We’re looking forward to getting back at it again in the league this weekend after a free week. We know travelling to Forest Green is always a tricky place to go but the lads have been training well and are looking to continue where they left off against Portsmouth last time out. It’s important to perform well ahead of next week’s FA Youth Cup match.”
United U18s First Round Proper tie in the FA Youth Cup has also been confirmed. The youngsters will travel to Reading City in the First Round Proper of the FA Youth Cup on Wednesday 6th November.
The winner will face a trip to Colchester United in Round 2.
