Oxford United’s under 18s look to keep their excellent run going when they welcome Luton Town to Northcourt Road on Saturday morning.
The youth team top the Merit League after a win at Exeter last weekend and their progress is even more remarkable with Nico Jones and Fabio Lopes on first team duty last weekend and Owen James on loan at Oxford City.
That has meant a number of under 16s have been given their chance and they have responded well to send the U’s top of the table ahead of the game against the Hatters
Kick off is at 11am so there is just about time to watch the game at Northcourt Road Abingdon, where admission is free, and then make it to the Kassam Stadium in time to see the first team take on Wycombe Wanderers.
Oxford United Women are also in action this weekend when they travel to Plymouth Argyle in the National League South. Kick off is at 2pm at Devon FA, in Newton Abbott
