Oxford United are pleased to announce the appointment of Jonny Edmunds as our new first team kit manager.
Jonny has been helping with the role since Mark Jarrett’s departure earlier in the season, combining it with his work behind the scenes for the Academy. He now joins the first team set up permanently and told us:
“I’ve loved being around the first team again and am really looking forward to doing it permanently now. I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of the Academy for the last six years and there are some great people doing fantastic work; I will still be available to help them in any way I can and I want to thank Dan Harris in particular for helping me make this transition.
“I first started at the club when I left school and one of my first jobs was to help Ken Ridley, the kit man, who was a great character and taught me so much. That seems a long time ago now but the same principles apply of being organised, being helpful and always working as hard as you can to help the first team prepare for games, home and away.”
