Oxford United are delighted to announce that Aaron McCreadie is the latest local youngster to be offered his first professional contract with the U’s.
A stylish midfielder, Aaron has been with the club since he was 9 and has been in outstanding form for the under 18s this season, earning him the chance to turn professional this summer.
Academy Manager Dan Harris told us:
“Aaron is an Oxford boy and has a huge affinity with his local club. He has had an excellent year and now he gets the chance to keep progressing and impress us for an extra year. He has a fantastic attitude, wants to learn all the time and we think is another really exciting signing for the future.”
At the same time the club has today told striker Harvey Bradbury that he will not be offered another deal this summer. Harvey joined from Watford at the start of this season and has been on loan at Woking since the new year. Dan told us
“It has been a pleasure to have Harvey here and we wish him well for the future. He has shown what he can do for Woking and by talking it through with him early we hope it makes it easier for him to find a club for next season: I am sure there will be plenty of clubs ready to welcome him.”
