Oxford United in the Community have thanked everyone who backed Community Day
United’s charity hosted hundreds of school children and local junior football teams as part of its 30th anniversary celebrations.
It also held a bucket collection to raise funds for its Dream Big Appeal to help the charity do more in our community. A big thank you to everyone who donated. More than £300 was raised.
Chris Lowes, Head of Oxford United in the Community, said: “The feedback we have received from supporters and guests has been wonderful.
“It’s a big year for the charity and we’re now starting to build more awareness of what we do and the difference we make. Thank you to everyone who supported us on the day and especially to those who donated – every penny will make a difference.”
