Following a positive 18 months in which the Oxford United Academy has taken significant steps forward, we are now looking to expand our small team of scouts working within the local area.
As a “one club” county, we are keen to establish positive connections with individuals and clubs across the region and invite expressions of interest in these two part-time roles.
Successful candidates will supplement the current Academy recruitment team in the running of Talent ID Events, Academy trials, pre-academy sessions and scouting of grassroots games.
Our current recruitment team have become much more visible at local games over recent months as we monitor school fixtures, JPL games, local leagues, summer festivals and non-league fixtures in our search for the next Callum O’Dowda or Sam Long.
We are looking for hard-working, diligent and motivated people who are passionate about developing young footballers for Oxford United. In return successful candidates will receive a monthly scouts fee alongside accredited CPD qualifications and the opportunity to support the next generation of players here at Oxford United.

The role is conditional upon suitable FA CRC check and a full driving license and the ability to attend some games on Saturday and Sunday mornings in your local area.
