There is still time to join us for the 125th Anniversary Dinner.
Formed on 27th October 1893 in The Britannia pub in Headington, our home match with Shrewsbury Town next Saturday marks the exact day the club was formed, and this anniversary will be celebrated with two great events.
That evening there will be a fantastic black tie event where a specially selected group of club legends will join us at the Sheldonian Theatre and Bodleian Library
With tables from each decade stars of the past including Ron Atkinson, John Shuker, Mark Creighton, Peter Foley Joey Beauchamp and Ryan Clarke have all confirmed that they will be joining us.
The night, which will be hosted by Jim Rosenthal, will include live interviews with the club legends, a drink and canape reception at the world famous Sheldonian Theatre, and a superb three course meal in the Weston Library, part of the Bodleian Library and one of Oxford’s most iconic venues, followed by an auction of memorabilia.
Following the theme of the decades, companies or individuals can sponsor a decade and host the two legends from that decade on their table for the evening.
This night really will be celebrating our history to support our future, with all profits from the evening going directly into funding the Academy.

The game will be a celebration of key moments in the club’s history, and the stars of the past have all been invited to come back to the U’s and help celebrate this landmark event. There will be a ‘Parade of the Decades’ from the 1960’s through to the current day prior to kick off and many other special events on the day.
As well as the club, The Yellow Army are also planning a special event on the day, with more details announced soon, and Oxvox are working on longer term projects to celebrate 125 years of proud history.
