Oxford United Manager Karl Robinson has urged supporters to come along on Monday to support his namesake Les Robinson as an Oxford United Legends XI take on the Liverpool Legends in Les's Testimonial
Only five players have made more appearances for the U’s than the popular full back, who featured 458 times after signing in 1990.
Liverpool are one of only two clubs Robinson did not play against during his career and now he will get the chance – 17 years after leaving United.
Former United team mate John Durnin helped arrange for a Liverpool Legends XI to appear to honour Robinson. Former Liverpool stars including Paul Walsh, Phil Neal, Alan Kennedy, John Wark and former U’s player Mark Wright have already agreed to play against a United side that includes Jim Magilton, Paul Moody, Joey Beauchamp, Matt Elliott, Phil Gilchrist and Darren Purse.

The two Managers- Denis Smith and Mark Lawrenson will also have familiar assistants in Malcolm Crosby and David Rush.
The eagerly awaited match will kick off at 2pm on the Bank Holiday Monday.
