Roaring Back

Be part of it as United take on Peterborough

13 March 2018

Join the Roar

This Saturday sees a massive game and a new era for Oxford United when we welcome Peterborough United to the Kassam Stadium.

It is the first home game since new Chairman Sumrith “Tiger” Thanakarnjanasuth took charge and we want Oxford fans to join the roar as we look to get back to winning ways.

Look out over the next few days for advertisements for the match in the local media and online; the first steps towards more prominent marketing and a wide ranging series of fan engagement and marketing ideas designed to raise the profile of the club.

As well as advertising the matches - in the newspapers, online and in the city centre - we have also been looking at other ways to make everyone feel connected with the club. Look out in the coming weeks for a special offer on tickets for the remaining home games as well as changes to the #OX4life scheme which will make it even easier for young fans to feel part of the club next season.

A Fans Forum will be formalised soon after the new Manager is announced but we are also hoping to have another opportunity for fans to join us for a special podcast with the help of our friends at Liontrust. Talking of Liontrust: look out on social media for two brilliant ways to get involved with the club sponsors at the End of Season Dinner.

Podcasts? On the way. Regular email updates? Coming soon. Roadshows in the local towns? We’re planning them for the summer. The return of the Preview Show to iFollow? Well, we’re not sure there’s a demand for THAT but we’ll listen…

Whether it’s Communication, Commercial, Community or Club Shop, we are looking to mark our 125th anniversary with a fresh new look and feel: #ProudHistoryBrightFuture
