The new season will see a fresh start for the half time draw at Oxford United.
Last season saw the format of the popular draw changed to provide a second and third prize as well as the usual cash first prize.
However the new style draw didn’t capture the imagination of the fans and so we are pleased to say that we have listened to what the fans have said and will be reintroducing the popular 50/Fifty Draw in its old format – with one cash prize.
Peter Rhoades-Brown, the club’s Business Development Manager explained:
“Last season we expanded the prizes but the feedback we got from fans was that they preferred a simpler draw and just one cash prize.
“So we are going back to that format. This opens up another avenue for businesses to get involved.
"The 50/Fifty draw is very much a central part of a matchday so you’re a company or individual out there who would like to partner us and have their name associated with the draw, as well as featuring in the programme, on the scoreboard, the PA, the website and social media each game then get in touch and have a chat with us.”
