Oxford United end their pre-season schedule with the short trip to MK Dons this evening (7.45pm)
Gavin Whyte and Tony McMahon return to the squad after missing the win over Leeds on Tuesday. Whyte wasn't risked so soon after making his first appearance against Crystal Palace, while McMahon was given a couple of days off to be with his family and pregnant wife. Both are available again tonight, although new signing Marcus Browne may have to wait while he is eased in to game time after joining on Tuesday.
Karl Robinson, Rob Hall and Samir Carruthers all return to Stadium MK to face their former club.
New Dons boss Paul Tisdale has rung the changes to bring in plenty of new faces as he tries to guide his new club back to League 1 after relegation last season.
"I'm still learning and every day offers me more information on the players here. We'll just keep a watching brief on it," the former Exeter boss said.
"We're not playing a game here. Our expectations should be do to as well as we can do. There will be a lot more than three or four teams thinking of making it this season. Everyone in this league will think they've got a chance, and after 10 or 12 games, some teams will begin to think they won't make it.
"If things go right and we find a rhythm, we've got a chance of making it to the top part of the league. I have a lot of work to do but we'd be doing ourselves a disservice if we aim too low. But I'm very practical about things. The last few seasons here haven't been great and I have to get the wheels turning forwards rather than backwards."
The game is being played at Stadium MK (MK1 1ST) and tickets are available from the Oxford United ticket office by phone (01865 337533) and in person.
Prices are as follows:
Disabled supporters are charged at the age-appropriate rate with a free Personal Assistant.
Please note that there is NO price increase for pay on the day although buying in advance would help minimise queueing times at the turnstiles.
Limited parking is available at Stadium MK at a fee of £7. MK Dons highly recommend pre-booking via mkdons.com. A park-and-walk option is also available for £5, with pre-booking also available.
Match-day spaces for blue badge holders are limited and must be pre-booked by emailing email@example.com. On-site parking for blue badge holders who haven't pre-booked cannot be guaranted, however drop-off/pick-up points are available outside gates 2, 4 and 7.
London Road Club coaches will not be running for this game.
